Dr. Leslie Yen
Sports Medicine
Dr. Leslie Yen is in the Sports Medicine division of Minor & James Medical.
Dr. Yen completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She finished her internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington. Dr. Yen earned her medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire and her undergraduate degree at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Yen's specific medical interests include the evaluation and nonsurgical treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Her goal is to help patients return safely and quickly to the activities they love. She believes in providing her patients with high levels of communication and care.
Dr. Leslie Yen was published in the July 2010 issue of the Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine with an article titled, "The Ultimate Frisbee Injury Study: The 2007 Ultimate Players Association College Championships."
