Congratulations to Our Doctors Featured in Seattle Met's 2011 Top Doctors Issue

Posted on: 08/01/2011

In the 2011 Top Docs editions of Seattle Metropolitan Magazine, several of our outstanding physicians were named among Seattle's finest. Congratulations to the Minor & James Medical physicians who were honored this year. These doctors represent the true spirit of their profession – putting medical excellence into practice.

Out of the nearly 4,000 doctors in the Seattle metropolitan area that participated this year, 16 Minor & James doctors we’re named among the top five percent of practitioners in their fields.

The survey process was a little different this year. Seattle Met partnered with Avvo, a physician rating and profiling website, to compile their 2011 list of Seattle’s Top Doctors. Avvo’s algorithms rate doctors on a ten-point scale which takes into account everything from peer endorsements to experience, education, training, disciplinary history, fellowships, hospital privileges and awards. Avvo’s ratings are continuously refreshed when updated information is provided by certifying and licensing boards as well as the providers themselves.
